OBESITY AND INACTIVITY
Our Children don't have the opportunities we did when we were
younger. (or when I was younger anyway). There were always kids
outside playing, or within a stones throw from our homes.
Now, we have to take them on play dates. How about a productive
healthy and physically active play date. Low self esteem, lack
of energy, poor habits, and bad attitudes can all be helped with
physical activity.
Child obesity is at an all time high. Kids are getting 4-5 hours
of television and computer time EVERY DAY! Inactivity causes all
types of health problems on top of obesity. Children should get
a maximum of 2 hours screen time (television and/or computer) a
day, and snacks limited to healthy foods.
Give your kids the gift of health and happiness. Fun activities,
combined with heart pumping exercise. No child is better or
worse than any other child....no matter what your child's
activity level, they will benefit from a few days a week doing
something physical. |
